I am a morning person. Once I'm outta bed I'm fully alert regardless of the task ahead of me. I have to steer clear of eating or drinking much other than water in the mornings. I'll be shimmying down the tree in a hurry if I do.

eat an apple or 2. They pak a powerful wake-up punch, and are healthy also.Taz
Not to mention that deer really like them. I usually have one or 2 with me when I go hunting. If I decide to stay out all day, they are something to eat, kill the pasties and give you energy. Plus, a couple of cores around your stand won't hurt your chances of seeing deer either.

try ginko, L-arginine, ginseng
Dont you think that is for later, at home, alone, with wife?
They put that in those pills that make WOOD.
I can't imagine being in the tree all day with WOOD.

I guess I'm lucky. When I get in the woods in the morning it's cold. The last week It's been in the 40's when I get to my stand. I avoid coffee at all cost because it shrinks the capilaries in my fingers and my fingers end up cold. I also don't want it on my breath.

Nope for me, crisp morning air dose the trick. Get me in a warm afternoon sun and it's a completely doffrent scenario.

My morning routine always includes coffee. On some days I'll take a thermos with me.

usually the physical exertion of getting to my stand gets the blood pumping. I am a natural morning person as it is. I am usually in the office a good hour before anyone else, i get more work done in that hour than i do at any other time of the day.

If you arent normally an early riser try to start getting up 15 minutes early each day as hunting season approaches to condition your body to be alert at the crack of dawn. I get up between 4:30 and 4:45 every day, when the weekend rolls around i almost always wake up at that time even if the alarm isnt set. I try to go back to sleep but generally i am up and moving by 6:00

I can see a gun hunter doing that, but seems a definite no no for bowhunting.
