I would be interested to know, who has, and who hasn't. I believe the percentages will show that most haven't. Let's see........
Numerous! I never kept count until I started coming here (4 years ago) and read posts from this davidmil guy who does keep count.
I'll probably never catch him if he quits now and I hunt until I'm 80. I'm 7 for 7 in the last four years. Would have been 6 for 7 had it not been for my buddies daschund finding one for us that we had all but given up on.

I believe in New York the success rate for a bow hunter is under 15%. In my 10 years of bow hunting I shot two bucks and a doe. Last year i didn't even take a shot. So depending on where you hunt will also determine your success

I kept records ever since I was a kid. Just shot my 112th deer. 59 with a bow. Interestingly, 60 does and 52 bucks. I started bow hunting in 1980 and only took off three years in college. Last year dedicted the year to my son getting a deer with the bow and he got most of the shots. Now I am ready to do my part again.
Incedentliy, I eat seven deer a year in my house!

Been seriously bowhunting for about 6 years. Took a 6pt. and a hen turkey in the same day for my first bow kill/s 5 years ago and have 2 doe kills since. We won't mention the misses and busts.
