Here are a couple photo's of the 7 pt. I shot last week, I always like to get a couple with the kids in it, like to keep them involved.

Another...I had to work for this buck until the end of the season this year, had a few blown opportunities the week before and was a bit disgruntled till this guy came by.

Rattled in this guy at 7:30AM 11/11/04. 10 yard shot and he only went 20 yards. Score 133.

Man lots of great pictures guys!
I guess I'll add one of my own from this past season........

I have seen a marked improvement in the quality of the pictures taken over the last few years that's for sure....glad to see it. I remember some of the Horror show pictures that were seen the first year here.....which is what prompted the original post.
Looks like it's catching on!

My hubby writes for a few hunting mags and we have learned alot about trpohy shots since! A few more things to add...

Windex works wonders for cleaning up blood!

Glass eyes from your local taxidermist, placed in over the deer's eyes make the deer look more alert

Try to make sure that when photographing a buck, his antlers are above your head, even just a little bit! This helps him look as big as he can. Also, looking at the deer and smiling, rather than at the camera is a more contemprorary pose lately. Here is my example::

Good Luck with the pics!!
