How should you hunt it? Your kidding right? I see your from North Carolina from your profile and assuming cause I don't know NC's game laws that your corn pile is legal......and you say the deer are tearing it up....so...hang a stand and spend some time in it....watch the wind, be patient and/or hunt the trails leading to and from your... he..he, area.

Yup, bait is legal in NC. They even sell deer corn in Walmart! It's not so different from hunting food plots like soy beans or alfalfa I guess. I have never baited since it wasn't legal where I came from and I guess it just didn't seem right but I admit, this year I spread a little corn in one area. I have lived in this house for 5 years and have NEVER seen a deer in that piece of woods so I thought I would try to draw some in. IF YOU FEED THEM, THEY WILL COME, lol. I am starting to see deer in those woods now so I guess it's working.
