I have just gotten a new rest.....Trophy Taker Drop Away rest......I love it. I'm not saying its the best out there but I really like it.

RE: Rests

I've gotten six years of use and over 50,000 shots on an original whisker biscuit arrowrest. The hole in the center of this rest is still round and the rest will probably last another 50,000 shots. The whisker biscuit is quiet, accurate, and they stay in tune. And they always work.

Good luck hunting!

I have shot a lot of drop aways always trying to find something better and each time, I end up going back to my NAP QT4000. I wanted a rest that held an arrow securely, one that was quiet and one that was simple to setup. For me anyway, it was the QT4000. I liked the trophy taker, but I had a lot of trouble setting it up and getting it just right. And now, my buddy is having the same problem with his. I don't like to fuss with equipement too long to get it just right because if you're in the field and have a problem with it, it'll take you that much longer to get it reset.

Of all of the dropaways, I personally recommend either the Quicktunes, or the Muzzy Zero Effect, especially for hunting.
