For a second or two I close my eyes right before I want to aim at what I want to hit. Does anyone else do this?

I start all my practice sessions blind baling about 15 to 20 shots

Im not positive what you mean, but I like to feel my anchor point and settle into it, before looking downrange at my pins...

Once at every practice session I'll draw my bow and settle into my anchor position with my eyes closed. If I open my eyes and my peep isn't perfectly lined up with my pin guard I know my string stretched.
