Anyone know what the width (from ear to ear) on an average whitetail buck is?????????

I thought standard was 14". Others might know better.

If you are speaking of mature bucks 16 - 18 inches.

On yearlings to 2 1/2 year olds 13 - 16 inches.

I have always heard that 16" is average.

Experts say the average is 16 inches,but just like people depends if they have a skinny head , big floppy ears

Same here...........if i can learn to make the pics bigger you can see the spread on this buck in the trunk..........this was in 98 when i only had a toyota corrolla!
