i have a stealth cam, and i was thinking about leaving it out during the season which starts in 3 weeks here in MN. i was going to leave it along one of the trails that goes by my stand, not the main one, but a pretty heavily used trail. do you think this would spook the deer too much and make them avoid the area or do you think i would be alright leaving it up for the season? (i kinda wanted to get a couple pics of a deer right before i shot it, thought it might be kinda cool)

I'd be more worried about it getting stolen then chaseing deer off. There will be a lot more hunters in the woods in the next few months and game cams are a favorite target of the unethical slob.[:'(]
If you can set you cam not to flash it would be optimum. Also a digital thet dosen't make noise is a plus.
What type of cam do you have?
