Because I lose a lot of 'em!! I also happened to lose 2 muzzy practice blades and the muzzy "head" itself. So now I have 1 practice arrow with a field point. The most arrows I've lost at one time was prolly around 4 I think. So, it's a good thing that arrows are plentiful, or I would have invested in a metal detector; oh wait, I have used one to find arrows before...

I hate losing arrows. It just plain angers me[:@] unless it's the occasional robinhood or it got busted up shooting a deer. Actually on second thought the robinhood also angers me. What a waste of $20.00

I usually don't lose arrows but instead break them trying to pull of amazing shots through a 2 in, gap to a 3-d target sitting between to trees 3 ft. apart from 60 yards. You get the point. If I could control my urge and be a normal target shooter, a dozen arrows might last me more than 3 months. But what the hell it sure is fun trying.

I have the same problem. If I would stop trying to take impossible shots at the range I would save myself some money. Last time we were there I tried a 35 yarder through a window about 6 inches around, past two trees and under another at the BIONIC bear, damned if I didn't miss by a C-hair. The other thing is I'm getting used to my new Patriot and it shoots a little faster and flater than my Martin did, I'm having problems with pass through on my bag target and some of the older bales at the archery club. I'm constantly having to re-fletch.
