I need no peep and it looks like the red dot is actually on the animal.
Once set up properly it is literally fool proof. I only shoot out to 30 yds. max. so this sight is ideal for me. My shots hit about 2 in. high at 10 yds. and 4 low at 30yds.
The way it works is that you simply have to make sure the red dot is in the center of the crosshairs and on your target when you release. If the anchor point is not right then the dot wont line up in the center until it is correct. This is why you need no peep.
I wouldnt buy this without trying it first. I tried one at an outdoor show and loved the way it worked.
I shot several deer with it and it sort of forces you to follow through your shot because you actually watch your arrow through the sight on its way to the red mark "on" the deer.

I've been very happy with the Toxonics Sniper pendulum. It also has two fixed pins for longer distance if a person desires. Otherwise, remove them and have a fine single pin pendulum.

I have been a huge fan of my keller for about 10 years, it is a great sight. I like pendulums for my hunting style. THis season I am going to try a savage sight. So far it has been silent and the pin is easier to see than my keller.

If you have a real fast set-up go with a single pin (HHA Optimizer or Impact Archery) If your set-up is slower go with a pendulum sight.
Good luck!

A quality pendulum can be a boon to those shooters that don't have the confidence in visually estimating distance or just cannot acquire the confidence using 1 static pin.
Although a pendulum will work on most bows regardless of speed of bow, the faster the bow the better the single pin accuracy from 0 to 40+.
The best pendulums are the type that you can adjust to the setup of your bow (speed, weight of arrow, etc.) and quickly adjust height settings when heights of treestands vary.
ABS has the quality and capabilities to adjust.

i'd go with a Savage sight, never missed a deer since going with it. i used a Keller and when i shot it sounded like someone throwing a hand full of coins in a tin can![:@] you don't have to lock any pins in when shooting from the ground with a Savage. check them out on ebay that's where we bought ours brand new for about 15$ less than any shops round here.
