Lets see I'm 17 and probably 80 percent of my income goes directly to hunting stuff. Its funny becasue I worked my but off this summer and my friends didn't and they still have more money then me

Mathews Outback with all accessories $1050
Lone wolf sit and climb $350
Various items at cabelas $350
Various items at hunting expo $60
Non-Resident antelope tag $110
All my deer tags $50
List of things I'm getting shorty at Gander Mountain $70

Total $2060 out of the approximately $2500 I made..lol

Last year I made about 2000 and spent every dime on hunting equipment.

If your bow is worth more than your truck, you are a dedicated hunter.

GOLD TIP HUNTER ARROWS 5575 $43.99
KWIKEE 6 - ARROW QUIVER $10.99

Teflon Cable Slide $10.00
Cobra Cable Gaurd $12.00
3 Terminator Arrows $15.00
Field Tips $3.00
Building a PVC Stand $300.00
Hunter's View Doghouse Blind $69.99
Turbo Nock Hunter 1dz $23.45

OK I'll let it be. But you can't blame me for trying. I sure do envy you though. Wish I could spend that much all in one year and not have the wife find out. Any tips for us?

In any non big item purchase year, which most years are, I keep bows and treestands for very long periods of time. I probably spend less than $200. That's tags and misc small things you pick up from time to time. I process my own deer, that saves me tons. My deer meat actually does turn out to be quite cheap.

I can't imagine spending the money some of you guys do.

WihWihunter I will give you one little trick. Every morning when you leave the house carry your empty bow case with you to the truck. Do this religously everyday. That way when you wan't to sneak in a new bow or supplies she won't know she will just think it is the same old bow case day in and day out. A regulation bow case can hall alot of lute undetected.
