Hunt all day on opener

Could also be a way to burn a stand site out early.
I used to be a nut as far as writing down deer sightings even when I was just driving driving around the back roads.
Found that after deer put on their winter coats and it was hot out, sitting in a stand midday wasn't fo me.

I've got to "earn a buck" so I'll hunt hard opening day. I've been seeing does feeding in my food plot around 11:30, if that continues I'll stay if I don't get one in the AM.
After that I won't hunt (on my land) until the last week of oct.

Nope. I hunt a couple of hours in the morning and a couple of hours in the afternoon. I don't hunt all day until Nov. After that I hunt all day whenever possible.
It might be intersting to see how long the guys that say nope have been bow hunting.

Nope, no all day sit for me. Hunting on public land has lots of things to take into consideration. I'll be gone by 10:00 if nothing was productive and head out to an evening stand location later that afternoon. I've sat all day before but wouldn't again unless the hunt is on private property.
Hunting this for over 20 years... approaching 10 with the stick and string.

I'll hunt the first 3-4 hours on opening day and part-time until mid October. Then from mid October until late November I will pick and choose those special weekends where I will hunt an entire day from dawn to dusk.
I like to hunt part-time early in the season so that in the event I get a deer on a warm day, it won't get too hot outside before I can completely butcher the deer. I don't want to hunt the afternoon hours early in the season as those days tend to be warmer and it's tough getting a deer to a check station and hope quickly before meat spoils.

In no way am I saying that you don't know what your doing if you sit all day early season with the bow.Did it when I first started and then realized in my area it wasn't productive,
