Thats good not alot of you are going to be out on openiing day............just leaves more deer for me! I'll be hunting until sunday night!!

Nope. I hunt a couple of hours in the morning and a couple of hours in the afternoon. I don't hunt all day until Nov. After that I hunt all day whenever possible.

The opener...........Hmmmmmm

I will be fletching arrows, and changing strings, and tuning bows, and crying......................

I've never hunted all day in all my life and doubt I ever will....sure you can if you want but IMO it's not necessary. If ever there would be a time I might somewhat consider sitting it out alllllll day, it certainly would not be opening day. With all of the skeeters, heat, and lack of deer movement I think I'd go nutz! [8D] Just be careful that you don't burn yourself out.

Mornings and evenings until the first two weeks in November. Then full days as needed.

It might be intersting to see how long the guys that say nope have been bow hunting.

In no way am I saying that you don't know what your doing if you sit all day early season with the bow.Did it when I first started and then realized in my area it wasn't productive,

I will hunt from daylight till about 12:00. I have seen so many deer at lunch time. I killed my first deer about 11:30 on opening day one year. I seen 11 deer that morning. That tells me from experience to get out there and take advantage of it. I probably won;t hunt all day long. I will take a break after 12:00 and then go back at about 3:00. I have heard of a few on here who hunt all day on the opener. I think whenever you are in the woods you have an advantage over someone who is not.
