Default new bow getting used to

I have a question for people who buy new bows alot. How long does it take to get used to a new bow. I am asking this question because I have to get a new bow because I outgrew my old bow.

I shot my old bow for better then 10 years and I'm still getting used to my new bow. It didn't take long to get proficent with it but they are designed very diffrently. With in a week I could shoot 2-3 inch groups at 30 yards but It still feels funny. I guess thats what shaving 8 lbs and 12" of ata of a bow will do.

Last year I went from shooting left hand to right hand and it took about 3-4 weeks to adjust. It shouldn't take that long to get used to a different bow, but it might take that long to really get to know the bow.
