Default 2 inch patterns

I have been practicing a bit lately and today I am proud to say that I have accomplished 2 inch patterns up to 30 yards. This post is not to brag but a warning to my son, Joe, that he better respect his dad this year or I won't set him up in the perfect spot and push deer his way this year. Should I just hang up the bow while I am ahead or give my boy a run for his money this year?

LOL make a bet. I shot a couple 2 inch groups at 30 yards and one with two shots with arrows touching at 50 yards. Nice shots though.

Zak, you gotta remember I can't see 50 yards, let alone shoot it. Just kidding, but I always limit my shots at 30 max. It's those 50 yard twigs I cannot see.

If I were to shoot 50 yards, I would get a bullet launcher.

I have a uncle much like you. He would be outshot by me but most of my success during the season could be credited to him. Without me knowing he was practicing and practicing and so on well he made me a little bet like he always does, we each shoot two arrows and shoot at a golf tee in the target. i went first , first shot missed quarter of an inch usually that seals the deal but i shot a second arrow any way nicked and chipped tee but not a solid hit. Ucle had a smarta$$ smirk on his face when it was hit turn missed bad first shot almost like he was setting me up. His second arrow flew and he drilled the tee. He hasnt been able to git it since but he showed me up that day and doesnt let me forget about it. MY advice show him up pops.

Just cause you can shoot a target at 30 yards don't mean you can kill a deer.
Warning: shooting at large live animals is different than shooting at a target in your yard.

Hope ya luck.
