More anti-hunting nonsense. I was doing some more research for my paper against immunocontraception for deer and came across these two articles. So sad to read. Wish they understood the true facts.

Are these people just a bunch of idiots?????? I mean these people are twisting everything around. Now I mean these people think what there doing is right, just like we do. But, what they say is so stupid. Im sure we hunters say stuff that makes antis go DID HE JUST SAY WHAT I THINK HE DID?? but atleast we have proof of are actions. Ive never heard an an anti say, o look at that pretty bird, we just helped its kind by taking a picture of it. HELLO!!!!! Like on that one email where they said why do the states that have the most hunters also have the most deer?? Well duh, the hunters are gunna go to where the deer are, and its proof of how deer management works. And the one about how we say deer mating season goes on during that time and they say it only happens in October, will they please let me know when it goes on exactly so i can be in my stand. Deer mate during all these monthes. This is also when food becomes scarce, they have to eat, so they have to get to food. I wish Antis would listen to themselves before they talk, there just like my aunt, but nobody likes her anyway either.lol.

Folks you are wasting your time even talking to these people, they are radicals who will bend the truth or lie to mislead the public. What we as outdoorsman need to do is EDUCATE the non hunting public and leave the antis alone, their numbers are quite small and they continue to make themselves look foolish all by theirselves. We need to present the facts to the non hunters who are in the majority, not bash the antis.

Hunting will never die. The sale of hunting licenses and equipment is where the vast majority of funds for conservation of wildlife resources comes from. Politicians know this and politicians know money. As long as this fact remains, hunting will be safe. This is why I try not to complain about increase in prices on licenses. Note I said try<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>.

The second article was funny. These people always take the same tack...He wants to vaccinate female deer with contraceptives. As if contraceptive use by humans worked to reduce the population. The idea is the same for any problem...the solution is more drugs, not natural selection or game management through hunter awareness. WE MUST USE DRUGS, ALWAYS!!!!

How are you going to vaccinate deer??? With a rifle and dart??? This guy is so humane it makes me sick.

HuntingBry this is the type of information that needs to be shared with the non hunting public. The antis have done virtually nothing in regards to conservation or habitat.
