Do you have any goals for this fall? If so what are you looking for?

Just a good time? How about a first bow kill? Holding out for a mature buck?

Lets hear what you are shooting for!!

I'm not holding off for anything huge, I just want to get a deer. I enjoy my time in the woods but I don't ever want to get skunked!

We have had an Outstanding Summer here in IL, heck it was in the 60s for most of last week. Its been very Cool All summer though and moist as well. Conditions have been Prime if your looking to grow giant boney things out of the top of your head. Looking Forward to posting some pics of some P&Ys with some 2" Broad Head Holes in 'em.

i have my eye on some decent bucks, nothing real big but thats fine with me. Anything i get, be it a doe or buck, is a trophy to me. Can't wait to get out this fall, i've been putting in alot of hard work this summer and hope it pays off.

I have high hopes I have been dry the last few years, as I was outfitting bowhunters and never had time for myself. I quit the guideing buisness, Im getting into making hunting Videos now. My S.E. Wisconsin area has been deemed a CWD area [:'(] This means they are going to slauter everything. I have to take the good with the bad. The 1st few hunters i have had the last few years have always had multiple cracks at Pope & young bucks, so with no limets, I am going to do some whacking on film. I also have a bunch of Illinois farms I can hunt and a tag to go with it. Also have a great lease in Western Wisconsin, and I don't have to use my regular tag in the CWD area.

The past two years, my back has decided to put me down during hunting season. Keeping my fingers crossed that I get to go this year. At this point, that's as high as my expectations get.

I'll be holding out for a mature buck, preferable a typical 10 pointer.I ate my buck tag last fall holding out,I passed on some nice 8 pointers.I just hope one of them grew a couple of extra tines.

last year at the NWTF dinner i bought a $350 taxidermy girft certificate for $150 so i am hoping to shoot my first buck with the bow and get a nice shoulder mount. a nice year and a half year old six point would be nice. that is the lowest i am looking for. i have shot my fair share of does and had some close calls with a couple nice bucks, but have failed because of variables outside of my control (except for forgetting treesteps and for not showering before the hunt and getting winded)

Looking for my first bow kill, actually. This is my first year with a bow and I was lucky enough to draw a second antlerless only tag which means I can take a doe and a buck. So not only am I going to try for my first bow kill I'm also going to try for my first buck.

That's the buck I'm going to try for this season. I won't be able to get a shoulder mount done on him though if I do get him. []
