Look at the condition of this doe. She looks like a South-Texas greyhound deer during a famine. I know she is most likely lactating and it's summer and her coat is thinner but the season is only 1.5 months away and I've never seen a doe look anything like this come October 1. What do you fellas think...is she sick?

It has pretty blue eyes. Thats what i call a boney deer. Looks sick to me

I think she is o.k. I have some pictures of does at this time of year that are pretty boney. I will see them later in the season and they are plumper. She should be fine.

She's thin any way you look at it, but it's a question of how thin. Maybe the camera angle is making her look even worse than she really is.

Sometimes camera angles can distort images.

No matter what, somewhere there is a buck that has a thing for light complected, blue eyed, skinny chicks.

Probably just the camera angle, heck there`s pictures of me and because of the angle it looks like I`m about 260lbs.

I don't think she looks too bad ,I've seen lot's of pic's this season and lot's of deer and most of them were very thin .
