nice buck, but ur saying not big for your area...u might want to plant a food plot to make the genetics better in the heard..just a suggestion..

This is a over average buck for my camp. The people in my hunting camp don't practice good management. If this buck could have had another year he'd be huge. I just would bet my paycheck that he wouldn't have made the season. Heck a four point does stand a good chance to make the season. I won't shoot one but many others here will.

i had the same problem..the people in my family that i hunted with werent exactly what u called conservationists they had the idea u take what comes in front of you...which i believe is not the right way to hunt..then one year i sat down and talked to my family into only shooting big bucks and not the lil ones...i finally got them talked into it and now we have a great heard with great genetics!!! try talkin to the people that you hunt with..it might make a difference.
