Still got a month of waiting to do. Switching to carbons this year, get them tomorrow!! A month to sight-in. I'm ready to hunt!!

Its excellent to see the enthusiasum out there.

I've been shooting my bow about every day. I've also spent a lot of time in observation stands glassing fields. Man, that gets my heart pumping.

Found a couple good stands of white oak bearing mast which should make for a deadly set-up when acorns drop.

I'm overall very confident about this season. We'll see how things unfold in 43 days!

All I have to do is descent my clothes and I'm ready to go. All my stands have been hung for atleast 3 weeks, all shooting lanes cut, etc, etc..... It feels like fall already today, so that doesn't help the urge much. Will the day ever come? lol

Oh yes! I'm ready to go .I'll be heading North this Sept for the archery moose hunt then when I get home I'll walk right into the deer hunt .So let the games begin.

man i am really excited to go this year for 2 reasons.1 i just moved here so it is all new grounds and second this will be my first year with a bow.i had just put out a stand the other day i see at least 6 deer there every evening so hopefully i bring a big one home this year :D

Since this year will be my first to try bow hunting I'm understandably vibrating . A friend showed me a great spot to set up , so I should get something . :)

The stands are up, the clover is growing and the signs of deer are everywhere. Been shooting since May 1st...now all I need to do is find the patience til Oct. 1st. So far...not so good.

Not really pumped or exicited at all. Only thing on the cameras is small young bucks and does. Nothing to write home about. Wonder if I will even bother with it much this year..

i see a couple of guys have counters... where do i get one? that has got to be teh coolest thing ever.. sometimes i just sit here at my computer and hit the refresh button to see how many more seconds have gone by! :D
