Bigcountry,

I have some Blackhawk ACA Vapor 4000s down in the basement. I had some good luck with them to a point last season. They seem to be very well put together and I was get some very good groups with them.

The problem arose though that when I would pull them out of the 3D targets they tended to twist and bend without breaking.....not a nice thing to have especially when people become accustomed to old wive's tail about carbons being either straight or broken. Maybe one of the larger/stiffer sizes would be more durable.

If I remember correctly teh 4000s were around 7.9 grains per inch.

I believe the 400's are 8.2gr/inch. I called them a while back, and I believe this was what they told me.
I use them, they shoot better than I'll ever be capable of, that's for sure.
The vanes come off easy, though, so you may want to fix those.
I shoot the 4000's at 64lbs at 26.5", and they work fine for me.
