We own about 300 acres of good deer land. My friend owns about 400 acres of good land as well.
When we go upstate, we've got a 200 acre lease that we camp & hunt on. We've also got permission on approx. 3000 acres.

I spend about 50% of my time on land we lease...and the other 50% on land I own. I may go somewhere else for a day or two during the season with a friend on land he owns.

Last two years its been 100% State Land Bow only area.
Before that all private. Always have 10 arces of private but the areas around it are hunted heavily.

I would say that about 5% of mine is my own property and the other 95% is private property that I was granted permission to hunt on for free. One land-owner asked that in the summers I kill some groundhogs but I hardly call that "paying to hunt".

100% public land....Allegheny National Forest and local State Game Lands. And I manage to see plenty of P&Y bucks throughout the season....but if you ask others that hunt there, they "don't grow 'em that big in PA."
