If you go to your local high school or middle/jr.high athletic director and ask them for an equipment catalogue. Many of them have very low draw weight bows to teach kids. They have to be low to allow them to be shot on campus by young kid's safely. Usualy they are rather inexpensive, light weight, and safe. Especially since she is so young. Whatever you decided good luck. I'll be in the same boat in about a year. My son is only 16 months and he loves to watch me shoot my bow. He thinks its just the coolest sound to hear the arrow hit the target. He'll sit in my wifes lap and giggle all day when I practice.
