What magazines do you subscribe to?
and what do you think about each of them?
Personally I get:
Peterson's Bowhunting - a bit too commercialized and sponsor-driven for my tastes. There are a few good tidbits of info every now and again, but most of it seems to be the same Bill Winke articles hashed out over and over again. Still good for a read while I'm in the bathroom though.
Bowhunter - one of my favorites. A lot of good, comprehensive articles on all different types of bowhunting. Doesn't seem to be too biased or influenced by sponsors, but I could just be too stupid to pick up on it.
North American Whitetail - mostly just good for big buck pictures and stories of how they were harvested. Not too groundbreaking when it comes to information or how-to articles. Still one of my favorites though.
Deer & Deer Hunting - hands down my favorite hunting mag. TONS of great info not just on deer hunting, but deer biology as well. John J Ozoga's writes some of the most informative articles I've ever read. If I could only get one magazine, this would be it.
What about you guys? Does your wife or girlfriend complain about hunting magazines littering every corner of the house like mine does? [8D]

RE: What magazines do you subscribe to?
Bowhunter - I had my dad pick me up a subscription for my birthday this last April. Out of all the magazines out there directed towards us bowhunters, I find this one to be the least comercialized and most comprehensive. It usually has a lot of good articles and stories ranging the entire globe. From Alaska to Zimbabwe it's got it all. Not to mention the number of Martin adds it has.

RE: What magazines do you subscribe to?
Bowhunter is proabably my favorite but I've had a subscription to them all at one time or another. Product reviews in all the magazines are very weak and very tame. I like ads!! Alot of people hate ads......I love them! (especially the Martin ones) I do really like the ads because I like to see what's new and upcoming. Also you see ads for stuff you may never see at your local proshop, but are good or great!
Good Luck!

RE: What magazines do you subscribe to?
I voluntarily subscribe to Traditional Bowhunter.
Was roped into taking Bowhunting World. The setup: I live in a small town where all the kids' activities sell stuff for fundraisers. The neighbor's kid was selling magazine subscriptions for his soccer team. His parents bought some stuff from MY kid on his band fundraiser. Bowhunting World was the only bow magazine on the list. I had to take it.
