If not scent-lok then....

raim, I use baking soda as a detergent - I use about a half of a small box per load of laundry. I've used the earth scent dryer sheets afterwards but the baking soda eliminates even that strong scent.
I also use the baking soda disolved in water to spray on my gear. The solution distributes the baking soda very well, when the water evaporates you have a light dusting of baking soda that sticks fairly well to the gear. I use this mainly with new gear like when I bought a new ground blind, or at the beginning of season to get rid of household and garage storage scents.
You can put some baking soda in a sock, tie the end, and use that to store in your bowcase or clean laundry bag and in your boots for storage.
But like anything else, this is just another tool for advantage and not the only way.
