Default Portable Bow Press

Is it ok to use a portable bow press on the newer bows, especially the VFT bows like my Patriot? Is there one in particular that is recommended? It sure would be handy to have in my daypack in case I ever needed to make some emergency repairs or adjustments.

I use a Bowmaster on my 03 Pat DC. It would fit in your day pack. I here wwag makes a good press also.

I have a bench mounted press and a Bowmaster. I use the Bowmaster a lot with the Split Limb adaptors--even on solid limbs. Both my bows have parallel limbs and the press works well.
