My new Q2 is expected to arrive in 1 1/2 weeks so i thought I would solicit your opinion on various accessories that would compliment it.
The only item I am leaning toward is the Ultra Rest drop away, though I am open to other suggestions. The local Mathews pro shop is big on these and I like the drop away concept but the added benefit of the arrow holder to keep it from falling off.
What sight should I get?
What quiver should I add?
The local pro shop will do all rigging and will certainly have his favorites, but I am interested in your suggestions. Also, should I get a stabilizer and if so, which one?
thx

I like the trophy ridge line of sights , along with copper john , truglo , and keller.....
I have a copper john hoyt team sight on my vipertec
Get a doinker stabalizer , they have a piviting thing on them that when u swing the bow to get into a spot to shoot , if u hit ur stabalizer , it jsut bends and returns to stragith quietly , i like it !
also i like the kwikie quivers , i have one on my current bow , it beats having to unscrew them all the tiem , and i like them over backpakc quivers , and bag quivers due to they can jsut clip on for the walk in , unclip hang on the hook , and clip back on to go home , without having the bulk on your back or on your hip!
Just a few of my ideas!

I steered away from the Trophy Ridge line of sights. The vertical pins block out too much of the target. The pro shop's favorite sight here is the HHA single pins. I looked at several different sights and kept an open mind but i ended up with the HHA OL-5000 single pin adjustable sight. if you're pulling 60-70 lbs, you dont have to hold high all the way out to 30 or 40 yards. no more deciding what pin to use. you can adjust it for longer ranges. very simple. As far as rests, the Trophy Ridge Drop Zone is a great fall away, as is the Trophy Taker Shakey Hunter. These are probably the two best fall away rests. If you want accuracy, silence, increased downrange penatration, as well as the benefit of never having to worry about the arrow falling off the rest, go with the Whisker Biscuit with the B2 biscuit. doesnt tear up vanes, and the advantage fall away's have over it is the 2 or 3 FPS you lose. i would take the ability of never worrying about the arrow falling off over a couple feet per second. IMHO the Doinker D2 line of stabilizers is the only way to go. I put a shorty hunter on mine, its only 4 inches long, and it takes away a ton of handshock. Quivers- Alpine Softloc is a one. Easily removed, no screws or pins, just rubber. other stuff- sims string leeches, sims limb savers, both help your bow in silence and vibration.

I confirmed that my new bow will arrive by Friday, so I need more suggestions on accessories. I have begun to lean toward the WB based on recent polls but remain open to suggestions.
What sights, stabilizer and quivers should I consider? I tend to hunt dark creek beds, that lose light earlier than open areas. I don't have an interest in the lighted sights, but a bright, light gathering sight is important.

Spot hog hogit sight is spendy but deff. worth the big bucks in both respects. I like the vertical line, helps in lining up the shot and you can get a pin illuminator for it.
Shakey hunter rest interests me as I do not have a fall away on my setup as of yet.
Sims leeches fail too quick for my money. I served a couple spidey legs on my string and they work well. gonna put a few on my cables.
Don't know much about stabs

Well, if you want brightness, get an HHA OL-5000...that thing lights up like a candle in the dark...its already got a hole for a pin illuminator should you need one. as far the spott hogg, 5 pins is too many for me...just my opinion. too much to mess around with. with the HHA, you have one pin. no guessing what pin to use..ever..the sight is rock solid too. alpine sofloc is the best quiver on the markter IMHO. no other choice. other than that, what i said in the above post..

I like the Trophy Ridge Shakey Hunter dropaway rest and the Vital Bow Gear sights, I am getting a VBG Proslide in about a week. I also like the Hindsight instead of a peep sight. I like the Bohning Lynx 4 arrow quiver the best. It has aluminum and carbon holders and it holds the arrow in two places I like it better than my old Quikee 3.

! I use the MZE rest and so far so good ,I really like this rest Ausie Guy put me onto this rest and I'm really glad he did it's a great rest .I also have the Spott Hogg Real Deal and again it's great as well but very pricy,If your looking for a cheaper sight I'd definetly give the HHA sight's and the Impact Archery sight's a look, they're very bright and very affordable .
I also have a Stealth 6" Stabilizer which is also great .Have you ever heard of a bowhunter who didn't think his gear was the best .Good luck with your choices ,because this is the most fun when it comes to buying your new gear to go with your new bow.
