YES to answer yoru question the bonds that hold teh pvc together (at least teh stuff i use pvc cement) is strong enough to hold 150 psi! thats alot of weight my friend even if you weighed 300 pounds put in a support system of say every 12" a 2" pvc pipe and support those between each other by two 2" pvc pipes between them. like a ladder, that way the floor doesnt stress too much. i like your design. let me know how it goes. by the way i attached a link of a flame thrower made mostly out of PVC if you guys want to check it out! :-D
i am builing one soon. i also built a tennis ball launcher out of pvc and a chamber for compressed air! PVC weaponry RULES!

But look at the bright side hazcon7,if the stand dosn't work you can re-do all the plumbing in your house for a little over $250,then order a stand from cabelas because the wife is happy and you earned it
