When hunting from a tree stand do you wear a harness?
Always or just sometimes?
What brand harness do you wear?

I'm in the market for a new harness this fall and am looking for ideas of what others use.

Thanks

Up till this year I always wore a saftey belt and that was it.

For this coming year, I purchased the Hunter Safety System Vest (Harness) and it will be worn at all times

I always wear a harness. Last year I picked up 2 of the vest type harnesses from Cabelas for my son and I. I like them because you just slip them on and buckle them. Much easier then the strap ones.

I dont leave the ground without it attached to the tree.

it takes me a bit longer while climbing but is worth the peace of mind. The climbing portion is the most dangerous part and the best chance for problems.

Have you had any problems with the buckle straps interfering while shooting a bow?

I also like the idea of a vest but hate the price tag. That just may be the price of convenience.

Anyone else?

I just wear an upper body harness, it doesn't get in my way. I don't even remember where I got it from. I have a seat o the pants I wear when hanging stands.

I have the seat-o-pants harness, and I like it, but will be switching to a vest type harness this year.
