boldplate - put your money into planting nutrituous crops and improving the natural vegetation and/or acquiring the equipment to do the things just mentioned.

If you want protein - there's a homemade recipe floating around somewhere on this board that will get you 200 lb for approximately $40.00. It works very well (somebody help me out)

My dad and I tried a bucket of Lucky Buck after seeing a display of it at a QDM field day. We've always put out 30:06 with so so response. The holes were never more than about 6/8 inches deep. After putting out a cool whip sized tub on the ground, they made a hole as big as any of our 30;06 sights. I put out 20lbs a month ago and dad just told me its all gone already. Here are the listed ingredients. Calcium (minimum) 12.5%, Calcium (maximum) 13.5%, Salt (minimum) 64%, Salt (maximum) 65%, Iodine 46ppm, Selenium 59 ppm. Salt, calcium carbonate, sodium selenite, zinc oxide, manganous oxide, ferrous carbonate, iron oxide, copper oxide, colbalt carbonate, calcium ionate, natural/artificial flavors and soybean oil. The end! No mention of phosphorus. Has a strong apple odor.
