RE: Bow Hunting and Filming
I film while I hunt and Im a do it myselfer. I use the Treepod camera tree mount and it works very well. I put my Sony camera on standby after mounting it to the pod and when I want to film something I can just hit the record button and start filming. The camera dos'nt make all the start up noises when you start recording from standby.

Stay away from the bow mounted cameras. You'll get everything but the actual shot because of bow jump and you should be making your follow through rather than having that camera forcing a shot or bad form.
