Doenst Anyone USE a MUZZY ZERO EFFECT anymore???
 

All I here on here is this new rest and so on and so forth....
I have used the MZE FLAWLESSLY for 3 years.. I have shot two Pope and Young bucks with it and I have NEVER had a clearence problem with it.. Combine that with my MATHEWS Q2 and i have One hell of a set up....

Its seems alot of people on here get caught up on the Hype of NEW BOWS and Equipment. I understand that people like to experiment with new toys, as do I, But Tried and True, my equipment has yet to fail me...

Well, does anyone use what I use?????

I have the MZE on my BowTech Patriot Duaully and I love it and can't see anything on the market today changing my mind ,I like to try different toy's as well as anyone but the MZE won't be getting changed ever.

How can anyone not Love it...?

There isn't any fletching clearance problems, its gauranteed to drop EVERYTIME... same way, same time and consistenly.. you dont have to worry about your arrow falling off..ummm i could keep going and going.....

If anyone says they couldnt shoot worth a damn with it, it wasnt the rest it was "YOU" and your Bow...

I'm still using the MZE! It'll be on all my future bows as well.

How ironic that just a few years ago, the MZE was the oft hyped "new kid on the block" and the design that spawned the "drop-away" revolution.:D

If people didn't buy and try new things we would still be shooting TM hunters and springy rests.

That said, those who use the rest love it...I'm not a fan of a cable slide driven drop-away, so I've never really been that interested..but I may try it someday :)

I still have it on my Liberty(3D setup) As for moving on I purchased an APA twister that I'll be putting threw the punishment test soon and as of now; I don't know, will see? I really like the MZE:)

The reason you don't hear much about it lately is because all the folks that have one aren't out buying and trying every new rest that comes out. We already have the best, no need to keep looking :D

Len, his son, myself and about every bow I've seen in his shop has a Muzzy Zero on it. You don't hear all the hype because we went through that 3 years ago and the dang things don't break so there's no need of discussing them. Still the best drop away on the market. I was in Len's shop the other day.... he was trying to fix one of those new hyped up drop aways that's suppose to be so simple and have no moving parts. Well, it's still broke.

You mean that there are other rests other than the ZE? :D I have one on my new Outback and one on my Q2. I can't imagine my bows wearing anything but the Muzzy!

I bought one last year but can't use it now since I sold my Ultra 2
and bought an Ovation. No cable slide on my Ovation.

If I had the extra $80 - $90 bucks to drop on a rest, you can bet it would be that rest. I may have one before next season though, you never know! ;)

Still using my MZE on my LX. As I see it, I would not put anything other than a MZE on any bow I owned.

I'm about to try it out. I picked one up on ebay for a good price. It was on a demo bow at a proshop , unfortunately it didn't come with any directions.[&:]

Yeap, have one on my old Hoyt Raptor Excel and I'm of the same opinion as most everyone else... it's staying on it as well as any new bow I might get in the future.

I shot them when they first came out. It is an awesome rest, but I am a consummate tinkerer, so I like to try all of the new toys out there. Nothing wrong with the MZE, and I would have no problem returning to it.

I am still using the MZE, however I must admit to trying out the NAP 4000 on my secondary bow this season.

When reading all these post, it makes me want to try the MZE. Sounds like the rest to have. Last year I bought the Game Dropper Bodoodle and I have been very pleased with it. My arrows fly straighter and my first pin goes up to 25 yds. instead of 20 yds. now. I am about to get a new bow, so may try the MZE, but like someone said earlier, don't fix it if it isn't broken. So may just stay with the Game Dropper.

No doubt in my mind it's th best rest ever made. I have had one on my bowtech pro 38 since I bought it and I couldn't have made a better investment.

Still got one on 2 of my bows , they work awesome , but do impart a slight noise to your bow , still I'll agree , they are the best rest Ive used , the WB is quieter , and the TT and QUAD ultrarest , work well allso , GKF premier are excelent allso .

Just got mine put on a couple weeks ago. I probly have 150 or so shots through it now and I am more impressed every time I shoot it.

Have had a MZE on my Bowtech Extreme Solo eversense I got the bow new...about 3 1/2 years ago..:D...my Buddys have them on there Patriot's.. only rest for us :D

Put the ZE on my LX I bought last year, couldn't be happier with it. ZERO PROBLEMZ :)

I bought one and could never get complete clearence with it on my 2000 ultratec but I'm not nocking the rest cause I have had the Trophy Ridge drop zone, lasted about a week, and the nap 3000 an it. The nap just works best on my bow. I have shot the ZE on other bows and it is a great rest.

TAZMAN... if you go back to the beginning post the man remarked on never hearing anything about The Muzzy Zero anymore. Reason being, it's proven it's value, has stood the test of time(about 4 years) and is STILL the number one fall away. All the others want to grow up to be just like Muzzy. So in response to your querry.... this thread too shall pass and we'll have a resurrection of all the others trying to unseat the king. In 2 or 3 years some other uninformed nimrod will pose the question again and we shall rally with the answers. All is well in Muzzy Land and the Fall-A-Way Kingdom. All we need is a mascot with big round ears.

i thought about getting a ZE but my pro shop guy advised me not too...too much of a bitch to get tuned and going right...he said the DZ is a much better fall away...i said screw fall aways all together and got a WB...arrow doesnt fall off and i get increased downrange penatration.

Thanks for the video David! Although it was for a regular MZE (I have the one for Mathews rollerguard) it gave me the basic info I needed to set it all up. I'm impressed! And I didn't notice any added noise to my bow when shooting it.

I'll get that MATHEWS hat , key chain , and bumper sticker in the mail asap.:D
