I'm guessing the launcher arm bent and this was the result of some sort of contact between the arrow and the rest. I have heard of this on a couple of occasions. Usually this is the result of the launcher arm not elevating all the way when the bow is drawn and thus resulting in contact. I'm sorry you're not having good luck with the DZ. I believe this is an awesome rest and just may need some adjustments.
At full draw is the launcher arm all the way up? If not I'm pretty sure that is what is causing contact and resulting in a bent arm.

yes it was the arm that bent and it looked like the arm was coming all the way up at full draw but its still hitting so i'm still thinking of just putting on the new biscuit.

That's some bad luck. Of all the great posts I've read of folks who love this rest I'm sorry to hear that you are having problems with yours. Just as is the case with ANY product, you will indeed get some units that have some sort of "bug". One positive thing is the fact that you are talking about a Trophy Ridge product so you WILL be backed by the best customer service you'll find anywhere. Please give them a call and they WILL take care of you and issue you a replacement DZ. It is truly an excellent rest that you'd be very impressed with I assure you. The rave reviews I've read from folks on all the forums suggest that it is indeed an awesome rest when you get it dialed in. Give 'em a call and they'll get ya squared away.

This is not the first time I've heard of this on this rest. I've seen 3 of them returned back to the local shop for the same reason. I'd expect more out a $100 rest.
But then again it could be all the force from the Bowtech bows.

I had the same problem with my hoyt ultra tec but to Trophy Ridge's credit they stood behind the product and refunded my money with no hassles and I still have 2 of their sights.

Sorry to hear that deer hunter knowing Trophy ridge I'm sure they would back up the rest,I'd try another first if you like that style of rest before you give up on it . I was in my local shop last week and a fella brought in his arrow's to be re-fletched because they looked like they were all shaved and were fuzzy ,he said his whisker Biscuit was the cause of this .He only had the rest on for a month and it made such a mess of those fletching's ,I'm glad I didn't get one because I was thinking of using one for this upcoming hunting season .I currently have a Muzzy Zero Effect on my BowTech Patriot Dually and I love it . I hope you ask lot's of question's on this Whisker bisquit before you buy one .

same exact thing happened to me at the shop. owner called tr and they informed him they had been hearing of that issue quite often with new bowtechs. sucks, i was really looking forward to that rest. got a nap 4000 though and like it, although i think i'm going to put the bodoodle back on tomorrow and play with it for a while for fun.
