how long to racks grow?

They may or may not get any more points but it is very likley that they will. Basically they will continue to grow just as they have been so far, adding mass and points as they go and their antler length permits. They still got 2 - 3 months to go depending on where you are. The mulies out here don't shed their velver until mid to late September.
I suspect that most of the six's will be nice eight points and most of the eights will become nice tens or better.

I would guess that racks are still growing as long as velvet is on. In my neck of the woods that usually means until the end of August/beginning of September so I would be willing to be that they still have quite a bit of time yet.
As for the number of points....that may already be determined but the length and width may still continue to grow.

There is a good article on the 200 days of antler growth in the latest issue of the Whitetail news from whitetail institute.

The copy I recieved in the mail had 6 or 7 pictures of the same deer at 5 week intervals from later april through the end of september. If I get a chance this weekend I'll scan them and post them.
