Well my first season back after 5 years and relocating to Indiana from West Virginia is over. Tomorrow is the last day but as I got about 15ft. up in my climber stand this morning I pulled a stomach muscle. It was painful to get down. Good timing though, just thankful it wasn't opening day. Not a good season. Hunted public land and had a very hard time finding signs of deer let alone getting them to walk under my stand. But looking forward to getting out there and scouting and wish opening day was closer. Oh yea, lets not forget about those spring time birds.

Well CHOOCH, sorry to hear about your stomach, but like you said at least it was on the last day. I too recently moved from W.V. and now I hunt in Ohio. I hope you have experienced the same thing I have after moving from W.V. It is difficult not seeing as many deer as I was back home but the quality of buck are a welcome. I have see more record bucks this past summer that I have my whole life in W.V. Plus I took my first record with a bow this year. I hunted VERY hard in W.V. and never harvested a record buck and one season in Ohio and it happened. I am sure you will experience the same in Indiana. I am still finding places to hunt and I am sure after some time you will find the big ones also. Good luck.
