Default Anybody like Alpine Bows??

...in particular, the new SVX.

My friend, who is about to buy his first bow, is considering a number of Parker bows,
but also likes the look of the Alpine SVX.

Is it easy to tune?
Does it shoot smooth?
Is it quiet?
How is Alpine's customer service?

Bulzeye,

I have owned 3 alpines. The Rebel, Teton Classic and Sidewinder. I really liked the Sidewinder. It was very quiet and smooth shooting. Simple to tune. Never had a problem with one. I have heard from local friends that needed them worked on..... they all said alpine was great about customer service.

Good luck,
Shed

I shot an Alpine Sidewinder for 3 years. Owned a target one and one for hunting. Always shot good and easy to keep set-up. Never tried any of their newer models. Also a frined of mine uses a stealth that is around 4 years old. He loves it and won't part with it. They are very good with customer relations. The only thing I ever had to do to the sidewinder was put new bearings in the cam and idler wheel once.
