Wildlife Management Plan
I am just curious on how many of you have written your own or have had someone write a Wildlife Management Plan for your property or the property you hunt on?
What suggestions would you give someone wanting to write their own Wildlife Management Plan.

Horntagger,
I'm not sure if you noticed that there is a wildlife managment forum on here as well. I wish I could provider you some info but I'm not that knowledgeable in wildlife management. I've asked lots of questions on the WM board and every is helpful. The board regulars are very well informed and I'm sure the'll take good care of you.

Sorry for the mis-understanding. I have written several version for the property we hunt.
I was just curious on how many people have?
Thought some of you might like some information on writing and developing your own.

Horntagger,
I would be very interested in any info you would be willing to volunteer. What are your opinions on a proper managemnet plan on a property of 100 acres or less (of timber) with larger fields and CRP bordering it? What kind of results can/should I expect for Gobblers and Whitetails? Thanks for any input.

Any of the information is free for the taking.
But this will help explain how to write one and also a couple of examples.

RE: Wildlife Management Plan
Horntagger,
Sorry for the misunderstanding. I thought you were looking for information, not volenteering information. I checked out the link and there is lots of good information there. I have a parcel of 54 acre that my parents own and I've been trying to improve it for wildlife. I have never formulated a plan and have been but rather just made small upgrades where possible. I think if I formulate a plan I would certainly see more results. I'm going to give it a wirl and see what I can come up with.
Thanks for the info
