That buck was killed about 5 miles from my house.That is a prime example of what can be expected if you let em go to let em grow.This was killed on leased property that only allows payed hunters and they only allow mature deer to be taken.The surrounding areas are high pressure ares so I don't even hunt in my own county but the counties I do hunt have more quality deer than Henderson,but I have not been one of the fortunate ones to take one as of yet,but I am working on it.

That is definitely a hawg!! I am sure he has relations running around close enough to where you hunt. The frustrating part is waiting for them to walk by.

I hunt and help guide on one of the neighboring properties where this buck was taken. I have seen some monsters on there. We let all small bucks go. Perferrably less than 125"

will be hunting in western Ky this fall on a guided hunt. Hope see something like that in the woods as much as take one home.

Portable,I live between Geneva and Smith Mills.You most likely have to drive by my house to get to where you hunt,unless you turn in Geneva.I live right on 136 on the corner of North Trigg Hooper Road.

Yeah,I am only about 2 miles past that house.

That was a really sad situation,a small child lost their life in that fire.

His uncle killed a 12 pointer that scored 187 6/8 just on the outskirts of Corydon in 1964,I believe..(it was the state record for a gun kill for a short while.)
