You only live once, if you got the cash I say spend it. That is what I do.

If you decide to buy a new bow, don't limit yourself to 1 choice try as many as you can ,one might suit you better than other's . I'm like Double Creek to If I've got the cash I start hunting for new gear.

Thanks everyone for the advice, I went out to a couple stores this afternoon -Cabelas , and two local pro shops. Wow have bows ever improved since the old Baby G. I shot
3 Mathews, 4Hoyts, 2Bowtechs, a Darton and the Martin mentioned above.
I hate to say I went with the most popular(or so it seems), because seems alot on here don't like em , but I went with the Hoyt Vipertech. Amazing smoothness, low recoil, and lightweight. They were all awesome - In fact I really liked the Darton which it doesn't seem many folks talk about, but before I left tonight they set it up and I was grouping 20 yard bullseyes with three arrows all in the eye.

CAN"T WAIT TO HIT THE 3D RANGE!!!!

why is there such a huge brace height, why would the serve the bus cable, and wht an impreesive price tag
With a longer brace the bow is more forgiving, with a shorter brace the flaws in your form are magnified. Whats wrong with the $$$. the new Outback is no more then the Xtec.

go with the mathews. thats what my dad did. he was shooting and old 1989 Bear Whitetail Legend and he killed 2 deer with it. we were out shooting in the yard last week, and the noise his Bear made compared to the Outback was unbelievable! if you are worried about getting slapped on your forearm, you are not holding your bow right.
