I carry a .357 with me when I hunt with my bow. Does this make me a poacher?

Ewolf, I think you know what I meant. Let me be a little more specific if you want to be a smart a$$.
My definition of poaching is breaking any law as it relates to "harvesting" game.
On a side note, why would you deliberately break the law?

I personally don't feel like any persons that violates a game law is a poacher. For example, I don't think hunting a few minutes after hours when it's still plenty light to see makes someone a poacher. But, that's just my opinion and I am intersted to know where the line between breaking a game law (which everyone has done at one time or another whether on accidendt or on purpose) and beeing a poacher, in your opinion what seperates that line?

If you shoot the animal in question after legal shooting times, The animal is considered poached. Doesn't make any difference in the law if you did it one minute after or four hours after. Poached just the same. Good luck with your hunting or poaching or what ever it is your doing...

Nope, but I usually come out early because the canopy is so thick during the archery season,it is to dark to see in there. I still have clock time but no daylite.
You should ask the game wardens in your area how lenient they would be on the quiteing time..
