I've been hunting a large bush for about 6 years now and every season I have good luck there .All winter I have been seeing bird's, and 2 week' before season I seen bird's. The week before season I went to scout the bush and only heard 2 bird's Gobbling.I've been there 3 time's since last Monday and haven't seen or even heard a bird.Today wasn't a very good day for hunting since we had very high wind's and you couldn't hear in the bush and when you went into the open the wind almost carried you away. These bird's were hanging out in the creek bed almost every season and I watched them early in the season there .Do you think these bird's will be back or should I move on to another bush?
I've never experienced this in the past ,Where ever I had bird's early in the season is where I would find them during the season.

My best guess would be a potential change in food source. If there current food source is exhausted or they found a more preferrable one then they may have just left the area. I would think that they would return once spring progresses and more food becomes available.
