New Loggy Bayou Treestands
Anyone take a look at the Loggys? I have always been fond of mine. Now, the year after I made the switch to a Summit, Loggy Bayou comes out with a cable system similar to the Summits! ARGGHH! I liked that one peice, shimmy up the tree and your done deal you got with their stands, but the noise bothered me. Now, they should be quiet as a mouse. Anyone want to buy a 6 month old summit?

Yeah, I don't know where I can get any info on them besides their site. I would really like to take a look at them in person. If they are as nice in the person as the pics, I'll be unloading my Summit for another Loggy. Love that wide open feeling!! And not feeling like you have an elk on your back carrying it in and out of the woods.
Again, anyone want a good deal on a Summit Viper?

Loggy stayed around. I had to replace mine a few years back due to a fire. As far as noise, I take it you had problems with the climbing band when climbing medium trees. That is easy to resolve with a bungee cord or you rope for pulling the bow up.
I do believe the shimming up the tree and quick slide back down is the best. I bought the climber attachement this time and can't stand two pieces. If my belly gets too big then who knows I might need to break it out again.

Fieldmouse, yes, the noise you get if you have too much band through the stand on smaller trees. But the new deal they have with the cable should take care of that.

Actually, its funny, but I frequent that place quite a bit and they don't have half the stuff they display on their website. The Loggy climbers on there are the old style with the steel band. The new uses a cable and lock system similar to the Summit's.
