Still looking for someone who has a loggy bayou mega transformer climbing stand. Wondering how you like it.

I like mine, the only thing I don't really care for is the design of the gun rest locking cams and the carry straps can be better designed. I use a bungy to strap the seat and platform together when packing in or out. Make sure the cables are in the up position while packing or you'll be kicking them on the back of your legs while walking. Otherwise it's a solid stand.

I like mine, but the cable shrinkwrap falls right off. I am thinking about getting the Summit replacement shrinkwrap; it looks thicker.
I don't use the fold down option. I slide the top and bottom together, and hook bungee cords to it to hold it together. It makes a good backpack frame for your gear.
I like the removeable front bar. I put the straps on the sides of the stand like the Lonewolf climber to keep the top and bottom together. I got padded backpack straps.
I like the way that the cables slide in and lock. If you are careful you can even adjust the bottom part to get more level.

I have the Mega Transformer and I like it, although this is the first tree stand I have ever used.My black plastic shrink wrap on the cable also fell off, actuality it started comming off the first time i used it. is this a safety hazzard and can this be fixed or do you just replace the whole cable? I am new to bowhunting and tree stands so I assumed maybe I just did not adjust it right or something to make it fall off.

Thanks for the replies, what about the seat, is it thick enough. My rearend usuaully gets sore after a couple of hours. I've narrowed my choice of stand to the mega transformer or equalizer.
