Ditto! Honestly, the eyes on full blown shoulder mounts give me the creeps. I know they're not real and all, but still...[:-]

Nice looking mounts KY,
Here's a picture of some of my PA bowkills, and which shows another "Euro" style mount that me and my buddy Frank (Kidd642)do with our "Non-shoulder mount" sized bucks........a nice way to make a good looking mount and honoring the animal without hacking off the antlers and putting them on a plaque.



The pedastals are really easy to make and you can use whatever wood floats your boat.
They look great on shelves or above a fireplace, and you can pick them up and look at them which is a bonus.

I definetly like the rack's but I'm not impressed with the skull's .I guess what I'm trying to say is I like the traditional mount's much better. That's just my opinion , I just like to see the animal that I harvested with a face.
It's your perogative to which style you like and I guess if that what you like then that's fine by me .
