Would you pay more?
#11
I don't want to pay anymore, I feel I pay too much for too many things already. If we all keep saying we'd pay more, we'd pay more, then we will be paying more until we can no longer afford it. All you who want to pay more can send your money my way, and I'll make sure its put to good use.

Bigbulls I am with you 100%. Three years ago the Provincial Government cancelled our Spring Bear Hunt here in Southern Ontario--nothing short of a political arrangement.
This year, information leaked that the MNR is using the 'funds' provided by hunters buying their game tags and Licenses to 'manage the nuisance bear population'. Just mindboggling how they find ways to spend funds generated by HUNTERS!!!
In my area about 5 or 6 WMU's are managed by TWO Conservation Officers--it takes at least 48 hours to get an officer out to your location to examine a wildlife offence---yet the MNR can spend our funds uselessly.
I do however contribute to The Wildlife Foundation Fund and the OFAH along with the NWTF of Canada, Ducks Unlimited and a few others and I would much rather giving my funds to these organizations.JMHO.

I'd be happy to pay more if I thought it would be put to good use. However, I've had first hand experience with what goes on in some state natural resources departments. and I doubt that a significant percentage is put to good use. I even doubt much even makes it to these departments, and much of what does, is frittered away.
