Would you pay more?
How would you assess the cost of your resident hunting licenses? I think I just payed around $70 for all my tags in Montana (not including special permit). I personally would be willing to pay more if I thought it would lead to more access and healthier heards.

I would pay more also.

RE: Would you pay more?
It's never going to be about healthier herds. It's all about budget short falls!

SSSSHHHH!!!!!
Don't let the bureaucrats hear you or you will soon be parted from your hard earned money and still have nothing to show for it!!! ;) |
RE: Would you pay more?
If hunters and fishermen were considered a single business we would be the largest business in the country with the money we spend and generate anually to pursue our passions.
I would pay more if I had to but they certainly get enough money from us as it is. They have plenty if they would just use it wisely and quit wasting it on crap plans and that the normal people know won't work worth a dang. |
RE: Would you pay more?
I'd only pay more if I had to ,I'm afraid every year it just get's more and more expensive to keep our sport alive .For new hunters to start it cost's a minimum of $600.00 by the time you take the hunter's course and to get your Possession Aquisition license and to buy your tag's for the season .This doesn't include the firearm's or bow's and camo and all other accessories that could add up to $1000.00's of dollar's .

RE: Would you pay more?
I would pay more if the money was used correctly. I think sometime our money is used for bogus research to justify our hunting brought on by the animal rights groups. For ex. Bear hunting in New Jersey. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that with more nuciense bear complaints and a season that was stopped, that hunting should be allowed. I am getting off track of the question, but as voiced above. Yes some.

RE: Would you pay more?
If I get all the tags that I normally get then we are talking about a price in the $60-$80 range. I would gladly pay more to hunt.

RE: Would you pay more?
I agree with fieldmouse. I would pay more but there is no way to keep money grubbin suits from washington from hijacking the funds. It's sad!

RE: Would you pay more?
I don't pay anything. Not anymore anyway. I have a Lifetime Hunting/Fishing license. It cost me $400.00 back in 1994. It's paid for itself a couple of times over now. The only thing I have to pay for now is federal waterfowl stamps, trout license, and HIP permit for migratory birds (waterfowl and dove). All of which I don't hunt.
However, I have no problem donating money to the wildlife department to keep them going. They are about the only entity standing between us losing our priviledges and the bureaucrats that want to take them away. |
