frist off just wanted to say hello from the pac.n.w. (wash.) new to the site and resonabley new to bow hunting. lots of good stuff here.
my question is i bought my son who is 15 a browning micro adrenalin 40-50# -56# limbs all the way in, and he's already pullin it to easy. he has a 25" draw lenth now, thinkin bout the parker-hunter mag. cause they say it'll grow with him, guess you can buy extra modules to accomadate growth spurts. any input will help out alot
thanks

First off, welcome to the board. Parker makes great bows! I messed with alot of them when we sold them and we always called them po' boy mathews bows. Shot great, the adjustable module was a real convenience for people just starting out and kids as well that needed to be able to grow into their bows. You say he's pullin that weight easy, but you need to make sure that he can pull it comfortably over a long time. No sense in being able to draw 70 pounds real easy for about 3 shots. If he can shoot a 60# bow with no real problems, and the draw length is right, then i would say go with the parker. Just make sure you dont overbow him to begin with.

Just want to welcome you to the board ,this is the right place to be when your in need of these type of question's . yes don't over bow him let him shoot it until he's comfortable and relaxed at all time's then move him up .I shoot a 60# bow but have done some shooting with a 70# but only for a few shot's at a time ,my point is I shoot the 60# A LOT better than the 70# reason being I'm a lot more comfortable and relaxed with a 60#.He need's to be able to shoot that bow all day long not just for a few arrow's .

i agree with the not over bowing him. thing is we shoot at least twice a week at the target range at least a 1/2 hr. or more, then we do the walk thru course which consists of at least 34 to 40 targets, and he manages all day long shooting with the big boys! think i'll keep him shootin the browing another month or so then move him up to the parker...
thanks for the input,it's helped alot.
