    I've had this conversation a hunderd times on other sites. Equipment has nothing to do with it. It's the close encounter that gets my heart rate up. I can get my archery fix from Feb. thru sept. with indoor target and 3-d. Come Oct. I'm in a different mind-set. I just choose a bow as my preference. I'd hunt with a spear if I had too. Jerry

    It would make the hunt even more special when it was a success, knowing that you did it ''old school'' ...to me anyways. yes i would still bowhunt.
