In the majority of the cases, I'll take the meat.
However, if the buck is an old, huge racked monster . . . the meat would probably be too tough to eat then anyway! [:'(] Then I'd want the rack!

Since I hang most racks up in the back yard for the squirrels in the yard to gnaw on during the winter.... I guess I'd keep the meat. The squirrels can find something else to eat.
