Well, it's been a week. Sold my Mathews Legacy, then ordered my Outback. Stopped in the pro shop yesterday and my soon to be x-buddy asked me if I wanted to go to the Ice Breaker 3D shoot next weekend. "Dude, I ain't even got a bow." Was my reply.[:@] Course his New Outback came in and he already has it set up and has practiced with it.

There in lies the problem. OH... and by the way, you did it to yourself. A boy always needs a backup. Although... IF I owned a Mmmmmmmmmmm.... Mmmmmmmmm... (you know)... I'd give it away too, but I wouldn't order another. But back to your problem. You have really screwed up. Sometimes in the manufacturing process where they're running this cam this week, that limb, this riser.... well, you can really, just by timing, get hung out to dry. You could fall into the cycle somewhere between "here's your bow" and "it'll be about another 12 weeks". No sir, you're going to have to suck it up and stop your whinnin', something I hear a lot of MMmmmmmmmm...mmmmmmmmmmmmm...(you know) owners doing.

Seriously, next time try to figure out a way to keep the old bow. Can you imagine going off on a trip somewhere and have a limb break or something and have NO backup. Can you imagine a limb or axle blowing the night before the opener and having no parts. Ahhhhh.... we must plan for emergencies Grasshopper. I always have two bows tuned and ready to go. I practice with both(admittedly not as much with the backup). I know if the situation were to arise I could grab the spare and go kill a critter. They don't shoot the same arrows so I also have half the arrow box with arrows with broadheads for the spare. They're tuned and numbered and ready to go.

Much like firearms, I never, as of this date. sold an old bow of mine. Got them back to the ones I had at 13 years old, Im 55 now.
Just this past month I have spent time rerigging my old PSE Greyghost with a new sight, interchangable quiver mounts with my primary bow and limb savers.
Like you said, you should always have a back up and I figure it's nice to have a variety of bows to shoot just to keep ones skills sharp.

Hey thanks for the encouragement there davidmil! The wife has a say in our home economics and veto'd my two bow theory. From a past experience I can say it's cheaper to keep her.

Oh, and I rather own a Mathews than any other brand. And I can't quit whinnin, at least until I get my new bow.

I can relate to that. If you cross 'em they'll change your drawlength...if you know what I mean.[&:] Either that or you'll become a "SELF" bowyer.
